I’m so happy to be here in person instead of hearing about it secondhand or watching it on my phone. Everyone connected to Montgomery Ranch has become family. It doesn’t matter that we’re not related by blood; they’re the family of my heart. I wish I could spend more time here with them, but right now, my job is standing in the way.

Derek

I love being on the ranch. It’s become my favorite part of the week. I have the best of both worlds: I work four days at Dixon Inc., then three days on the ranch with my brothers and sister-in-law, Andi. We’ve been able to reconnect since we started spending time here. I didn’t realize how far we’d grown apart until we got close again. Andi's family, the Montgomerys, which includes her best friends, Toni and Rhonda, have become important to me, too.

I thought I’d be doing this alone, but it turns out I’ll have help after all. Becoming pregnant through IVF and discovering I was having Josh's triplets felt right. He was excited as I was, and his family welcomed me with open arms. They can’t wait for the babies to come into this world.

I didn’t plan on becoming a father right now, but I couldn’t be happier. As we settle into our new home, I know we’ll have to work through some issues, but that’s true of any new couple. We’ve both uprooted our lives and moved to Wyattville, so there are bound to be some unforeseen complications. But I know we can work through them.

Josh and Jenna's story begins: 

How did we let Andi talk us into this? We knew being stuck in a car for the next five or six days was going to be…awkward. To make things worse, the car broke down, and we ended up stuck in a small town for who knows how long.

One call from my sister-in-law, Andi, and I found myself at the doorstep of a New York reporter who recently wrote an article about my family that was loaded with falsehoods and innuendo. We demanded a retraction. While it wasn’t her fault that her editor had made changes to the article without her knowledge, it was still written under her byline. Don’t get me wrong, I like Jenna, but I don’t know why I have to be the one to drive her down to the Ranch.

Jenna Jones

I couldn’t believe what happened with that article. When I found out, I quit on the spot and gave the Dixons a copy of the real article I turned in. Now, even though I was the one in the right, no one would hire me. My only choice was to move to Wyattville and take the job Andi Dixon, offered. I would have toughed it out in New York if I only had myself to worry about. But I needed a steady paycheck. I was due to have triplets in a few months. I wanted to travel on my own, but Andi insisted Josh accompany me so I wouldn’t be alone. As it turned out, I was glad he was with me.

Josh and Jenna have a few surprises in store for them on this trip. It would be a journey they would never forget.
